Shai Ashkenazi is Professor of Pediatrics at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University. He is head of pediatric department at Schneider Hospital and a world-renowned expert in infectious diseases. Prof. Ashkenazi participated in clinical development of influenza attenuated vaccine, Shigella conjugate vaccine, RSV passive vaccine and hepatitis A inactivated vaccine.

Prof. Myron Levin |

Prof. Myron Levin has been the director for the Center of Vaccine Development at Maryland University since its inception. He is a world-renowned expert in epidemiology, preventive medicine, microbiology, and immunology and developed the attenuated live oral Salmonella typhi vaccine and the Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine. He is senior editor of New Generation Vaccines and has published over 400 peer-reviewed journal articles. He was the recipient of the Albert B. Sabin Gold Medal Award for lifetime achievement in the area of vaccine development and implementation.

He invented the affinity chromatography and its applications in biomedical sciences and bio-recognition and has been recognized for his work and research (Rothschild Prize in Chemistry; the Wolf Foundation Prize for Medicine; the Pierce Prize for Biorecognition Technology, the Israel Prize for Biotechnology, Sarstedt Prize, and International Distinguished Clinical Chemistry Award). He has published more than 400 scientific articles.
